When scheduling a UCL meeting room.
Step-by-step guide
- In Outlook on your calendar, create a new appointment.
- Add attendees to your appointment. Add the conference room calendar that you wish to use as an attendee.
Tip: You can search for attendee names by typing some of the name and then press the control and k keys on your keyboard to show a listing of all the names that contain what you typed. Ex: typing continuing ed and then pressing control and k keys will list all calendars that contain the words continuing ed. - Once all your attendees are added to your meeting, use the Scheduling Assistant to check for time conflicts in the conference room space you selected.
- If there are no conflicts, you can book the conference room by following the rest of the steps and sending the calendar invite. If there are conflicts, you will need to either look for another time or talk with the other person who has the conference room booked to see if they can switch.
- Add a subject and agenda
- In the Meeting tab at the top of your appointment select appointment and then click on the send button.
