Inviting remote participants to join our meetings via a web browser: Requirements:
Below are invite links to send to people joining using their web browsers. If they have web cam hardware, they should be able to click on any of these and follow prompts to join these spaces. This is not a direct connect to our conference room, but our conference room must also join the meeting space. Each of these Cisco Meeting spaces has an entry in our conference room IVC contact lists: Candidate X (for job interviews): Candidate Y (for job interviews): CECE Public Meetings (if remote attendees are outside of CECE organization): CECE Management Meetings: CECE Leadership Meetings: If possible, arrange a test with remote participants in advance of the meeting. Connecting the room to enable remote participants via browser: The room must also connect to the meeting “space”: TV must be on and the IVC input selected. (This typically happens automatically. Even if you want an audio conference only, the TV is the sound system for this room.) Use the Cisco touch screen to dial “CECE Public Meeting” from “favorites” or “contacts” list. This should tell you that you’re connected to the meeting and show other participants, or a mountain landscape image on the TV. If you are presenting with a computer, connect an HDMI cable to the port in the tabletop labeled “Video Conference Presentation” and to your computer. (Let us know if you need an adapter for computers without HDMI.) Use the Cisco touch screen “Sharing” or “Presentation” controls to start/stop presenting, and select the screen layout. |
