You can hold a meeting in our conference rooms, utilizing the room's installed video conferencing equipment, with remote participants using any device with a web browser and a web camera. This is done by joining the room to one of our configured meeting spaces, and remote participants joining the same meeting space with their device.
Connecting the room to the meeting space:
If you are presenting with a computer, connect an HDMI cable to the port in the tabletop labeled “Video Conference Presentation” and to your computer. (Let us know if you need an adapter for computers without HDMI.) Use the Cisco touch screen “Sharing” or “Presentation” controls to start/stop presenting, and select the screen layout. Inviting remote participants to join our meetings via a web browser: Requirements:
Below are invite links to send to people joining using their web browsers. If they have web cam hardware, they should be able to click on any of these and follow prompts to join these spaces. This is not a direct connect to our conference room, but our conference room must also join the meeting space. Each of these Cisco Meeting spaces has an entry in our conference room IVC contact lists: If possible, arrange a test with remote participants in advance of the meeting. |
