Holds/Negative Service Indicators

• Academic Probation - Registrar's Office will enroll (email student name, id , number, term, class number and class information)
• Athletics No add no drop - Contact Athletic department can lift temporarily. DESC team contacts student and has them inquire about getting hold lifted.and ask them to lift hold temporarily.
• BRB - Inc Acct/Stdnt Loans AR Batch (Balance Due)
  • Student is responsible to pay balance to have hold lifted. 
  •  If student is already attending the course, Email Income Accounting for temporary “Balance Due Hold” lifts lift in order to get them registered and charge them for itstudent.
  • Collections Hold - 
• Loan Interview
  • Student responsible for completing questionnaire in CIS and then hold is lifted.
  • Request Registrar's Office to register registration@utah.edu (email all student name, id number, term, class number and class information).
• SIM - Student Health Hold
  •  Non-credit - Kerry Hill can temporarily lift for immunization holds (end of day only).
  • ELI immunization holds can not be lifted and ELI and/or student is responsible for contacting Kerry Hill in Student Health to resolve.
• Satisfactory Academic Progress
  • Should not prevent enrollment
• Refund Credit Hold - Does not prevent enrollment
• Missing Admissions Credentials Hold
  • Non-credit classes can be enrolled by Registrar's Office registration@utah.edu (email all student name, id number, term, class number and class information).
• Admissions Credentials Hold
  • Contact CE program (PROED, ELI, Contract classes)
  • All other CE enrollments can be overridden by Registrar's Office 
• Financial Aid SAT Warning - Does not prevent enrollment
