The room must also connect to the meeting “space”: TV must be on and the IVC input selected. (This typically happens automatically. Use the Cisco touch screen to dial “CECE Public Meeting” from “favorites” or “contacts” list. This should tell you that you’re connected to the meeting and show other participants, or a mountain landscape image on the TV. If you are presenting with a computer, connect an HDMI cable to the port in the tabletop labeled “Video Conference Presentation” and to your computer. (Let us know if you need an adapter for computers without HDMI.) Use the Cisco touch screen “Sharing” or “Presentation” controls to start/stop presenting, and select the screen layout. Inviting remote participants to join our meetings via a web browser: Requirements: - Modern Web Browser.
- Webcam hardware.
- Reliable, fast, connection.
Below are invite links to send to people joining using their web browsers. If they have web cam hardware, they should be able to click on any of these and follow prompts to join these spaces. This is not a direct connect to our conference room, but our conference room must also join the meeting space. Each of these Cisco Meeting spaces has an entry in our conference room IVC contact lists: If possible, arrange a test with remote participants in advance of the meeting

| A little attention to the environment from which a remote participant joins can have a great impact on the quality of the meeting experience for all. You may want to pass these recommendations along with meeting invites for large meetings, or more formal meetings such as job interviews: - Ensure lighting is sufficient to see the participant's face. Avoid back-lit situations that silhouette the participant.
- Minimize ambient noise. Noise such as extraneous conversations, or ventilation systems are often amplified to the other meeting participants.
- If a quite environment is not available, use a headset with a earphones and a microphone.
- Use a microphone with a mute or push-to-talk feature to minimize background noise. Alternatively, use the computer's mute feature when you are not addressing the meeting.
- Eliminates distracting movement or activities from the background, such as pets, or busy public areas.
