CECE Software Policy (IN DEVELOPMENT)

All software purchased (cloud based or desktop) must be approved through IS&T.

If the software meets any of the following criteria it should be purchased and managed by IS&T:

1. Requires install on machines managed by IS&T.

2. Will be used to store student information

3. Costs more than 100 per month

4. Integrates with any system we currently or will in the future maintain. (will be our priority)

   1. Including : SSO, Connections to Salesforce, Tableau, etc.

If the software does not meet the above criteria it can be managed by the team and their budget.
