Using the UCL Parking Coupon Code

UCL's parking coupon code is set up for all employees in University Connected Learning to use for work related parking in one of the six (Business Loop, Union, Student Services, Medical Garage, Bookstore, Eccles Student Life) parking lots with a kiosk.  You must pay for parking in these lots whether you are driving your own vehicle or one of UCL's vehicles.

Parking Coupon Code: 540CECE

To use the coupon code, park in any non-reserved parking space in the kiosk lot and proceed to the nearest kiosk machine with your license plate number:

  1.  Wake up the machine by pressing any button

  2. Enter your license plate number 

  3. Select "Purchase Parking"

  4. Select "$3.00 per hour"

  5. Enter how many hours you would like to pay for (even when using a coupon code you need to enter the number of hours you will be parked for, in the event your time runs out before you leave or add more time, you may receive a ticket for a full day's rate)

  6. Enter yes, you have a coupon code

  7. Enter the code

  8. Print receipt

Please attach your receipt to an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper with your name and the purpose (event attending, meeting with..., etc.) for using the coupon code.  Please give the receipt to Cindy in the RI Office.





Parking Regulations for University Vehicles



  1. All University Owned Vehicle Authorized Parking Areas:

    1. "U" or "E" permitted stalls.

    2. Meters (non-load zone) are limited to the maximum time listed on the meter.

    3. Pay-by-Phone limitation is two hours.

    4. Visitor Pay Lot limitation is two hour

    5. "A" permit stalls limitation is for loading and unloading only.

    6. On sidewalks with a sidewalk permit only.

    7. Maintenance stalls located in lots 12, 13, and 14.

  2. Unauthorized Parking Areas:

    1. Fire Lanes/No parking areas (red curbs)

    2. Disabled Stalls.

    3. Reserved Stalls.

    4. Load Zone Meters.

  3. Plant Operations stalls:

    1. Vehicle must be identified as a Plant Operations vehicle to park there.

    2. CS and CV permits are authorized to use these stalls.

  4. Drivers of improperly parked University of Utah or State of Utah vehicles displaying exempt license plates will be responsible for tickets received.
