Facility is the object in Salesforce that stores information about physical spaces on-campus, or off-campus locations where classes are held.
Not all Facility records in Salesforce are Locations in PeopleSoft.
Facilities that are in PeopleSoft will have a 10-digit Facility ID.
Facilities that are not in PeopleSoft will not have a 10-digit Facility ID, and will reference the record most closely related to Facility.

There are two Facility Record Types in Salesforce:

Example:
At 540 Arapeen (UUCE Building), we have coded each cubical and office in Room 220.
We do not have a Location in PeopleSoft for each cubical, but we need to have record of these space so we can identify which Assets are in each cubical.
UUCE 220-01 is a record in Salesforce with a Parent Facility of UUCE 220.
