Optin Monster Webhook

Overview

This documentation is specific to creating a webhook in Optin Monster, adding the correct url for the Salesforce integration, and adding additional required program data to the webhook configuration for each campaign that the webhook is placed on. Once the webhook is created in Optin Monster, it can be reused for different campaigns - the program data must still be added to match a Campaign external id in Salesforce.

Creating a new Webhook

1. Select a campaign, and then click edit campaign button

2. Navigate to “Integrations” and click “Add a New Integration”

3. Search for “Webhook”, click on the Webhook tile

4. Select “Add New Webhook” from dropdown. Input configuration(webhook url will be given by the Salesforce Admin)

   Once a webhook is created it can be re-used for different campaigns

Setting Program data related to Campaign

Add the program to the data field in this format - {“program”:”externalIdNameFromSalesforce”}

Finding Campaign Code in Salesforce

You can find a list of all active Campaigns in Salesforce here.

Select the Campaign that needs to be connected to Optinmonster. You will see the basic fields as follows:

You’ll use the Campaign Code value in the OptinMonster Webhook as described above.
