2/28/2023 - Open Enrollment

Course data will be populated in canvas when option in check in course from the D1 staff view.

Corporate Enrollments:

  1. Login to d1 staff view

  2. Select enrollment manager and search for student

    1. Select group search

  3. Register students using group account

  4. Select group and search for class.

  5. Register the group in class and proceed to checkout

  6. Fill out payment fields as required to pay for all students at one time.

    1. Corporate login can be enabled to allow this to be done by entities on the public view.

  7. Create invoice for group in the staff view.

  8. Pay for invoice on the public view.

Bundles:

  1. Logins to d1 staff view

  2. Select curriculum manager

  3. Select certificate and create new certificate

  4. Fill in required fields as dictated by department and click save.

  5. Select bundles from top nav bar and click create bundles

  6. Fill in required fields and click save.

  7. Search for bundle

Apply discount to a course:

  1. Login to d1 staff view.

  2. Select curriculum manager and search for specific course.

  3. Enter course and select fees from top nav bar.

  4. Select Flat fee option and fill in required fields

    1. Different GL accounts must be used to set up tuition and special fees. There is an option to make each of these discountable depending on department policy.

  5. Select price adjustments and add necessary discounts.

    1. Click + button to add each discount required to the course.

  6. Click save button.

    1. Fees for a course can’t be changed after a person has registered for the course.

3/3/2023 - Third Party

If classes are marked as internal, they will not show up on the public view. Students can still be registered in the staff view.

Register student in staff view:

  1. Login to d1 staff view

  2. Select enrollment manager from the top nav bar.

  3. Search for a student and enter profile.

  4. Select courses from top nav bar

  5. Select course and enroll student.

  6. Click continue once enrollment has taken place.

  7. Navigate to payment portal and select invoice.

  8. Enter payment information as required and click process.

  9. Student will now owe amount required to take the course.

  10. Send student email to notify them of the invoice.

Print Section lists:

  1. Login to d1 staff view.

  2. Select curriculum manager

  3. Select courses and choose a section.

  4. However over the courses option and select class list.

  5. Select tools and choose list to be printed.

    1. Students can be filtered based on complete status.

View emails sent to students:

  1. Login to d1 staff view.

  2. Select curriculum manager

  3. Select instructors and choose particular instructor

  4. Select one of the courses being taught.

  5. Hover over instructors drop list and select courses.

  6. Choose a course and hover over courses drop list.

  7. Select communications to view those already sent.

Generate Report:

  1. Login to d1 staff view

  2. Go to curriculum manager and select reporting catagory

  3. Select master option to find all reporting options.

    1. Select desired report to generate and select ‘go’ button.

Group information can be imported into D1.

Drop dates can be added to the section level.

3/21/2023 - Open Enroll

View Group Invoice:

  1. Login to d1 staff view and select enrollment manager.

  2. Search group.

  3. Bring up group record.

  4. Select invoices under accounts drop menu.

  5. Fill required fields and select search.

  6. View invoices assigned to group and/or student.

Group Contract:

  1. Login to d1 staff view and select enrollment manager.

  2. Search for specific group and enter record.

  3. Select contracts from navigation menu.

  4. Enter required fields as dictated by contract terms.

  5. Enter details as necessary (required)

  6. Select contract terms to create specific fields.

  7. Enter required fields as necessary.

  8. Click save button.

If a student requests a drop before the deadline, the drop is automatic. If the drop occurs after the deadline, then it has to be approved from the staff end.

3/22/2023 - Open Enroll

Class cancellations trigger automatic refunds to enrolled students.

Instructors courses can be found by entering the instructor record and selecting courses under the instructor drop menu.

Dropping a course in the staff view might make the system think that the drop is being approved.

To get notification of the drop request click the notify staff of new drops/transfers public and staff view boxes.

Classes on a contracts that include discounts will have them automatically applied during checkout. Discounts could be applied to individuals while offerings are based on courses?

Dropping students in the staff view means the system believes the person with manager access has authorization to do so.

New Contract:

  1. Login to d1 staff view and select enrollment manager.

  2. search for group/company and enter profile.

  3. Select contracts from navigation and click new contract button.

  4. Fill out required fields as determined by department criteria.

  5. Click save button.
