D1i.ELI.SEVIS.008

Several preference tables on the SA > System > Preference Table page:

Classification of Instructional Program (CIP) Codes

SEVIS Class of Admission

SEVIS Education Level

SEVIS Country of Birth

SEVIS Country of Citizenship

SEVIS Passport Country

SEVIS Profile Address Country

SEVIS Student Reprint I-20 Reason Codes

SEVIS Student Cancel I-20 Reason Codes

SEVIS Student Termination Reason Codes

Note: The preference table codes for each value must match the acceptable codes used by SEVIS. Destiny One includes seeded values for all theSEVIS tables; edits should not be required. With each major Destiny One release we will overwrite the SEVIS preference tables if SEVIS changes their accepted values; this removes any previous entries in the tables and ensures Destiny One stays current with SEVIS changes. Students with old values that are no longer in the preference table continue to show the old value, but with a (D). Any integration events for that student will fail unless an acceptable value is selected.

When a student is reportable to SEVIS there is additional validation in the Student View and Staff View to prevent the student from deleting:

Foreign address

Local phone number if permanent phone number not specified

Permanent phone number if local phone number not specified

Local address (if their SEVIS Status is Active)

Gender

International flag

Email Address

Validation ensures these fields are defined when a student is reportable to SEVIS. Validation happens on both the Student Profile and the ProgramAdmission page when attempting to generate an international event.

Test Both Pages to verify Validation is working

D1i.ELI.SEVIS.011

The SEVIS Events page does not show a full audit history for each event; it only lists the name of the PDSO or DSO who added an event to the batch. If for auditing purposes you need to know which staff user ignored or sent the various events to SEVIS, you can query the database for that information.

D1i.ELI.SEVIS.012

The Program Admission page must be saved at least once before any SEVIS event is generated for the student.
